Reservation
If you are arriving on an early morning flight and would like your room available before standard check-in time, you will need to book the room for the day prior to your arrival.
Check-in is available from 2:00 pm on the day of arrival.
Check-out is by 10:00 am on the day of departure.
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and must be arranged in advance. Additional charges may apply.
A valid credit card may be charged or pre-authorised from 5:00 pm on the day of arrival to confirm the booking. If the credit card is declined for any reason, Auckland Airport Motel reserves the right to cancel the booking.
At check-in, guests must provide a valid credit card to cover any charges incurred during their stay. Alternatively, a $200.00 bond may be required.
General
Visitors are permitted at management’s discretion and must leave the property by 10:00 pm.
The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all guests and visitors while on the property. Any deliberate or reckless behaviour that causes damage to the property, results in additional costs, or causes loss of income to the motel will be charged to the registered guest.
Reservations are valid only for the dates booked and the number of guests listed on the reservation. Auckland Airport Motel reserves the right to apply minimum stay requirements and maximum guest limits for all rooms.
Cancellation Policy
A cancellation fee equal to the total tariff may apply if you fail to cancel your reservation by 2:00 pm on the day before your scheduled arrival.
Failure to cancel before arrival may result in the full reservation being charged.
Internet Bookings
If your booking was made through a third-party website or online booking platform, cancellations must be made directly through that same platform. If the booking is not cancelled through the correct platform, the credit card provided may still be charged.
Additional Charges
Additional charges may apply for the following:
Missing or lost key cards: $50.00 per card key
Carpet cleaning: $120.00 per room
Flood damage: minimum charge of $500.00
Damage to property: cost of repair or replacement, including loss of income during the repair or replacement period
Breakages: cost of repair or replacement, including loss of income during the repair or replacement period
Missing chattels: cost of replacement and any loss of income until the item is replaced
Property returns: if you leave belongings behind, you may be required to provide a prepaid, self-addressed courier bag or envelope
Unpaid Accounts
Guests are liable for any costs incurred by Auckland Airport Motel in the collection of unpaid charges. This may include legal fees and debt collection costs.
Transport
There are several ways to travel to and from Auckland Airport:
Complimentary motel shuttle service, available between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm
The Yellow Bus, approximately $8.00 one way, with children under 12 riding free
Uber or other rideshare apps, often preferred for upfront pricing and reliability
Private vehicle
Complimentary Shuttle Service
A complimentary courtesy shuttle service is available for motel guests travelling to and from Auckland Airport. The shuttle operates Monday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Please note that the shuttle service is not available from 24 to 26 December, and from 31 December to 2 January.
Airport pick-ups cannot be pre-booked. Once you have cleared customs or collected your bags, please contact the motel on 0800 10 727 or 09 275 3499 to request a pick-up.
For airport pick-ups:
During peak times, waiting periods may apply and some drop-off times may be unavailable. This is a complimentary pick-up and drop-off service between the motel and Auckland Airport only.
The shuttle cannot carry oversized items such as surfboards, bikes, golf clubs, or large cargo. Guests travelling with oversized luggage or equipment should arrange alternative transport.
If you require the shuttle to return to the motel to collect a vehicle stored onsite and you are not staying at the motel that night, an additional charge may apply.
Guests may also download the Auckland Airport Shuttle Service App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store for directions, maps, in-app calling, shuttle GPS location, and language options.
The Yellow Bus
The Yellow Bus operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is available for guests who purchase a ticket.
Tickets can be purchased on board the bus using digital payments only and includes Paywave, contactless credit or debit cards, Google Wallet, and Apple Pay.
From the Airport
Purchase your Yellow Bus ticket on board and ask the driver to stop at Auckland Airport Kiwi Hotel. Auckland Airport Motel is located approximately 100 metres from this stop, within easy walking distance.
Return to the Airport
Purchase one on board the Yellow Bus when departing from Auckland Airport Kiwi Hotel to return to the airport.

Uber and Rideshare Apps
Due to the short distance, a typical Uber fare from Auckland Airport Motel to Auckland Airport is around $18.00 to $30.00.
Rideshare apps are often preferred over taxis near the airport as they usually provide upfront pricing and more consistent service.
Internet
Free unlimited Wi-Fi is available for guests through our hotspot connection. No passcode is currently required.
Stay connected with family and friends, follow your favourite bloggers and vloggers, or watch videos from the comfort of your room.
Parking
Free off-street parking is available for each night of your stay, with CCTV security onsite.
If you would like to leave your car at the motel while travelling elsewhere, an additional charge of $5.00 per day will apply.
If shuttle service is required upon your return to pick up your vehicle and you are not staying with us that night, an additional charge of $20.00 may apply.
